In the nomination «Orchestra Conductor
» the following work should be prepared by the participant's candidate to conduct: Ludwig van Beethoven, Symphony № 2, all movements of the symphony, and in the nomination «Choir Conductor»
the following works should be prepared by the participant's candidate to conduct: W.A. Mozart «Ave Verum», G. F. Händel, «Hallelujah» from the «Messiah». The participant is allowed to conduct with one's own Concertmaster, who may also take part in the competition under the nomination «The Art of Concertmaster». Otherwise the Organizing Committee will supply the participant with a Concertmaster. There is a separate Concertmaster fee.
Under the nomination «Composition»
one is allowed to take part by correspondence.
Participants should submit one or several original compositions in any genre. One should send both the scores and audio recordings. The scores should be presented as *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.tif, *pdf. documents. Audio recordings should be in the .mp3 format. These materials should be sent along with the application to e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org Awards for the Participants: Grand Prix – 50 000 rubles
The winners in each nomination and age group are awarded the Laureate Diplomas (I, II, III, IV places) and Honorary Diplomas. Every participant receives a Certifcate of a Participant in an International Music Competition.
The Laureates of the Competition will take part in the final concert and will be invited to take part in the concerts of the International Forum «Romanticism: Its Origins and Beyond» during the 2019-2020 season. The concerts will take place in Moscow, at the Gnessin Academy of Music.
The pedagogues of the Laureates will be awarded special Certificates.
The judgement of the jury is final and will not be disputed. The Jury:
The Jury will consist of internationally recognized musicians and pedagogues who teach at leading conservatories in Russia and worldwide. Application Documents:
